In many industries, customers can be rewarded and paid for referrals.
So, if you refer someone to a car dealership or an insurance company, for example, you can be rewarded for that referral with cash or gift cards or prizes.
In real estate, in the state of Arizona, that is actually not allowed. Per the law, no one can “earn” money for a real estate transaction unless they are a liscensed realtor. So, even though I would love to give gift cards for referrals, I cannot.
Here is what I can do…
If you send me a referral that results in a sales transaction, I will donate $100 to the charity of your choice, in your name, at close of escrow! Of course the organization must be a registered non-profit/501(3)(c). Examples are the Humane Society, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Make A Wish Foundation, etc.
Let’s get to giving!! Send me the names of friends/family members/acquantainces that you know are looking to buy or sell real estate or have them contact me and mention your name and as soon as we are ready to close I will make a donation of $100.00 to the charity of your choice! The people you refer to me can be located anywhere in the world! They do NOT have to live in the Prescott area!
It is a win-win! I get to help clients with their real estate transaction and a charity benefits every time I close a transaction that was cultivated by a referral!
